Film & Media Day 2012 a great success.

Thanks to everyone who helped put on Film & Media Day 2012. It was a great day and everyone who attended put a great face on the film industry in NM. The press conference at noon was well attended and we were honored to have both Senator Phil Griego and Senator Tim Keller give their time to speak. The screening of "Made in New Mexico" was a huge hit - you should really make an effort to see this film. The legislative reception at The Pink Adobe was enjoyed by all with many legislators attending and many others  who were still in committee sending staffers.

We still have 2 weeks left in the session so keep you eyes on the many film bills as they move through the process.

Thanks again to our sponsors: Santa Fe Studios, IATSE Local 600, NMedia, SAG, and Elliott Location Equipment, to all the table exhibitors, and of course to all of you. Remember - movies make money for New Mexico.

Those of you who missed the screening of "Made in New Mexico" should try to catch it as it travels the state,
if you don't see a screening listed near you get in touch with Brent or David and see about setting one up.
